Hi Folks,
For anyone wishing to read some basic info on setting up a non-profit
association in Geneva, see:
http://www.mandint.org/english/cguidee.htm
*Note*: By sending this link, I do not mean to be pushing for this form
of association; rather, I'm simply hoping to contribute a little more
info for anyone interested.
The very instructive email that Scott sent on August 2 seems like an
excellent guide for our thinking. Can Scott participate in the call
tomorrow?
Best,
Mary
P.S. As I mentioned on the call last week, I'm so sorry not to have been
better connected in mid-July, when discussion on location and form was
taking place. (On the coast of Italy, there just wasn't sufficient
demand for Internet access to counter the cost of data retention...)
The one email sample I did get to view from that batch questioned
whether we wanted to set up an entity after all, and I mistakenly took
it as indicative of a desire to postpone these considerations. In any
event, I didn't mean to be rude, lazy, irresponsible, or obtuse and
appreciate your pardoning me.
